WARNING: This show is metaphysical in nature but has GREAT information in it.  Even though we started out talking about meditation and how to connect your spirit with that of your pets’, my guest, Rev. Brenda Bates and I also discussed may topics including Breed Specific Legislation!  I know, that one keeps popping up a lot in my podcasts!  I think I am going to start making it a basic part of every show!

This was a very fun show to do as I had one of my closest friends on the show today as my guest plus it was the first show I was able to do completely in my studio!  All of my other shows have been phone and online interviews or I went to them.  You will get to know me better and hear how I relate to my friends.  Brenda and I laughed a great deal and actually forgot we were doing a show!  The discussions we have are ones that we discuss frequently and in depth.  The passion in our voices is real.  This is the most relaxed real interview I have done thus far.  I do hope you enjoy it.

For a show that was supposed to be all about cat grooming, we sure did get off topic alot!  We ended up going over our 1 hour time limit by 15 minutes because we were discussing several very good topics!  We discussed the idiocy of Breed Specific Legislation, cat grooming dangers, and raw feeding with our special guest Sara Garthly, owner of A Breed Apart Pet Salon.

Sara has been doing grooming since 1984 and loves to groom cats.  She also has a beautiful Rotti that she gave me permission to show off.  This is a photo of her beautiful RAW FED baby boy:

 Pawz Poopz Dwight Jurgens [2:24m]: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download

It appalls me that someone like Dwight Jurgens with NO animal background other than having 2 dogs, a cat and “guppies on the verge of death” considers himself knowledgeable enough to write an article on killing Pit Bulls! Heck, the title “There Are Bad, Mean Dogs; Then Pit Bulls” doesn’t even make sense! 

This moronic article states that he wants to “I’d nuke ‘em all” and that he wants to volunteer at the Hutchinson Animal Shelter just so he can “put a needle in the head of pit bulls and watch them die…”!  He doesn’t even know how to properly euthanize animals!  Hint Dwight, the needles DO NOT go in the head….what a goof! 

We are proud to give 4 pawz DOWN to this ill-informed hater of Pit Bulls.  He hasn’t even had an experience with a Pit Bull in order to be objective in this article.  So what does he base it on?  The fact that these dogs “bark and snarl” at people when left in a car (MOST dogs do this even Chihuahuas!) and 2 Pit Bulls with irresponsible caretakers got loose and killed some goats and maimed a few others.  OOOOOOOO….let’s call in the marines on this one folks!  Jeeze!  

This article is nothing more than the poop that comes out of the back end of a Pit Bull!  It belongs in the trash right under cat poo or even used as kindling to light some poor soul’s wood stove to keep warm!  

So on behalf of all GREAT Pit Bulls everywhere-we proudly give this article and Dwight Jurgens from Hutchinson, KS 4 HUGE Pawz DOWN!!!!!!!
