Meet The Pawz Cauze Team
I am Rev. Dr. Leigh Foster, creator, owner and host of the show. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant, possess a Doctorate of Divinity Degree in Religion, An Associate Degree in Applied Science, 2 Veterinary Technology degrees, and have completed the courses that make me an Animal Behavior Specialist. I also have over 30 years experience in working with animals.
The Pawz Cauze show is a family effort with each member having their own specific job to do. I am the host, but I also book the guests and events we cover as well as answer emails and edit the shows.
JR, my husband, is the Producer as well as the man behind the camera. He is my strongest supporter. He also helps to find organizations and functions for us to attend and film. He also helps with trapping and taming the feral cats.
One says that self is the worst critic, but in my case, it is my daughter, LaTosha. Even though she lives several states away from us, she still holds her director’s position with pride. I send her the videos for her to critique and she does it well. She forced me to get a new chair because the old one would squeak during my podcast interviews and she didn’t like that. Her dedication to our family and The Pawz Cauze is a sheer blessing for us.
Now we have Skyler Marie Schlumbohm, my granddaughter, born on August 2, 2007. She will be training to help her mommy; LaTosha and one day carry on The Pawz Cauze legacy.
Karina and Gracie Huizar are the hosts of our new show The Pawz Cauze Kidz Beat.
So as you can see, each of us has a job to do in order to help create shows for The Pawz Cauze. A family that works together stays together, even if there are many miles between you.
The Pawz Cauze has just recently teamed up with producer/director Chris Cory and ROVERlution to help bring awareness to the World about the bully breeds and disabled animals and to help fight against Breed Specific Legislation while promoting Chris’ newest film Diva Dog: Pit Bull on Wheels; a documentary about his own dog that was paralyzed after being hit by a car.
They also partnered Animals Asia to help raise money to set free all the Moon Bears held in tiny coffin like cages, with their teeth and claws removed; living lives of pain and torture as rusty catheters are shoved into their gallbladders to milk their bile for cosmetic purposes.
Leigh also accepted a position on the Board of Directors for American Dogs of Distinction. With exciting projects and joint ventures, The Pawz Cauze Team looks forward to a busy but exciting future!
Just when you thought The Pawz Cauze has done it all, Leigh is now partnered with CafePress to distribute her CDs, DVDs, books and T-shirts. Plus Leigh took a writing position with the Rose City/Lupton monthly newspaper!
The Pawz Cauze is easily able to remain neutral in all situations involving human v.s. human. However, if it is human v.s. animal, we are ALWAYS on the side of the animal.

****ONE THING THAT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE PODCAST, WE ARE ON NO MAN’S SIDE. WE SIDE ONLY WITH THE ANIMAL, NO MATTER WHAT!****
The Pawz Cauze thanks Renee Williams for creating The Pawz Cauze logo, Mary Alice Pollard for creating our banner, and to the wonderful Maria Daines for our theme song. We couldn’t do it without you guys!
