PLEASE sign it and pass it on. This woman needs stopped, arrested, convicted of animal abuse as well as shooting a firearm inside the city. Anyone who wishes to have your opinions heard by Glynn Johnson about what he did to Karley; please feel free to email me and I will print them out and personally hand them to the proper authorities to give to him.  Please do not name call or use offensive language because those may not be given to him.  Please use intellect and a calm attitude to display your extreme disappointment in the way he acted and the decisions he has made.  These type of emails seem to have a greater effect on the convict because it forces him/her to face the reality of the actions where rude, mean, and negative emails cause anger which gets no where.  You may also wish to write the judge and jury to thank them for their decision and their compassion for Karley and her family.  I will be happy to hand deliver these as well.

Dog Found Murdered And Mutilated In Barberton

BARBERTON– The dismembered body of a dog was discovered on the side of Hudson Run Road in Barberton last week.

Police say they they got to the scene, they found two plastic garbage bags, one containing the the dog’s torso and hind legs, the other containing the front legs.

The dog’s body had been completely skinned and the head was missing.

Investigators say it appeared the dog had been killed, dismembered and skinned just hours earlier.

The person responsible could face animal cruelty charges.

Today I received a wonderful email from a Colorado friend of Maria Daines about Oreo, the dog that was killed by ASPCA!  I will post about that as well in a minute for those whom have not heard the ruckus on FaceBook about it.

Anyway, she sent me this link and I want to share it with you.  As an advocate for the pitbull, I feel it is important for people to remember that we have rights as American Citizens and the government is trying VERY hard to take those rights away from us.  Each year, more laws are put into effect without the American people knowing anything about it.  This MUST stop…….Remember, WE elected them and WE can kick them out of office.  THEY WORK FOR US, not the other way around.

When we don’t watch what our government, local or National, is doing, laws such as BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) are voted on and passed without running by the American people.  It is time we took a stand and reclaimed our rights.  Tell YOUR town, YOUR state, YOUR National Governments that we’re not going to stand by and watch our rights get taken away from us.  Take that stand today.

Not long ago, at around 2:00 PM an image struck the neighbors of Ezeiza (Buenos Aires, Argentina): Benet ran desperately, covered in flames, between the houses. The agonizing scream and cry of Benet caught the attention and compassion of everyone.

Benet was very well known around Ezeiza and it is why the ones who cared for him have done so ever since that day. It was because of their love that Benet is alive today and it is because of their love that he wants to keep living.

He still has two more months of recovery, but his hope is still intact. His right side and his abdominal are what the vets are really concerned about and even though he hasn’t lost his entire sigh, he can’t see without blurs because of the burns on his eyes.

Till today, Ricardo Eckerd tries to continue his normal routine in Ezeiza, but can’t. Or might we say: they don’t let him. Since the brutal attack became public he doen’t stop getting home calls, cellphone calls, letters, mails, texts, you name it. He doesn’t seem to mind that his neighbors have completely broken down his white Ford because he had it fixed a few days after. Of course, not without threatening the entire neighborhood: “Before leaving the neighborhood I’m gonna kill one of them”, he promised; “I’m gonna leave them handicapped”, he said to the people protesting outside his house. He suggests that the dog will “return to the neighborhood” so that he could “light him on fire once more”.

His words and reaction did not surprise the neighbors of course. He had a record for public violence.

After realizing that his Cocker had gotten pregnant he decided to take revenge on the author of the cause: Benet. So he called the dog and poured gas all over him. A little kid was watching as he did this and Ricardo said to him: “Now, you’re gonna see what I do”. His first attempt to light fire failed. Benet felt fear and tried to run and escape but Ricardo ran after him and tried to light him for the second time. And this time it worked.
