The Pawz Cauze

Hey Everyone,

I need help finding special heroic people whom have went out of their way to help change the world by helping one animal at a time (or even just one animal) to place in the line up as a Pawz Applauze Nominee.  Their stories will air on my show every week then each year, the audience will vote for their favorite nominee to be named Pawz Applauze Winner for the year.  We are talking about having listeners vote each month for their favorite nominee of the month then the final 12 will be presented for the audience to choose their favorite for the overall winner of the year.  This will help make the choices easier for the listener.

Prizes for the winner are still being gathered but we have books, CDs, pet supplies all lined up for the winner.  We’d like to get enough donated items that we can give each monthly winner something special.  So if you have pet products or books you wish to submit for prizes, please contact me and I’ll give you the mailing address to send your merchandise to.  Every Pawz Applauze Nominee will receive a certificate of thanks for their work in the animal kingdom.

So send your nominations to us and we’ll do the rest. Remember, NO act of kindness to animals is too small; so send us YOUR story today! You or your nominee could be the winner of some awesome prizes!

On May 1, dog Chiclet and Jan Rasmussen are going to give a matching gift of $10,000 (and two anonymous donors are adding $25,000) to the Rabies Challenge Fund. Important: please watch the video on YouTube, not from the release.  We need as many people as possible to watch it, rate it (hopefully with 5 stars), “favorite” it, make positive comments–and forward it and embed it on websites and blogs.  As you know, if the video gets lots of play, and lots of people Favorite it and Bookmark it, YouTube will promote it and the word about the vaccine will spread fast.
