Animal Control Officer Shoots and Kills A Family’s Dog
Here’s a summery: https://apps.facebook.com/petitions/1/unlicensed-animal-control-officer-illegally-shot-a-dog-inside-city-limits/ This is the case I am working on in my town. PLEASE sign it and pass it on. This woman needs stopped, arrested, convicted of animal abuse as well as shooting a firearm inside the city. The best part is that her husband admitted it in front of witnesses at a town meeting which is recorded and documented! Please help us stop her. Thank you. Pawz up!

World In Uproar of Killing of 49 Exotic Animals in Ohio
Jack Hannah was brought on the scene and that is why some were saved. The following animals are at Columbus Zoo: 3 leopards, a grizzly bear, a black panther, and 2 monkeys are safe with Jack.

As the population of Alaska’s Cook Inlet beluga whales plummeted from over 1,200 in 1979 to only 326 in 2009, these iconic whales were finally listed as endangered in 2008. Now, a new proposal announced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) aims to protect more than 3,000 square miles of their aquatic home — and would give these struggling marine mammals the protections they need to survive.
Take action now: Urge NOAA to adopt this proposal to help save the Cook Inlet beluga whales. The deadline for comments is February 1, 2010.
